Mastercard Buys AI Cybersecurity Firm Recorded Future For $2.65B

Mastercard has acquired global threat intelligence company Recorded Future from private equity firm Insight Partners for $2.65 billion. This move is aimed at bolstering Mastercard’s cybersecurity infrastructure and strengthening its ability to identify and prevent potential cyber threats.

Both Mastercard and Recorded Future use artificial intelligence to analyze vast amounts of data in order to identify potential threats.
